Good read

I came across an opinion piece posted on The Wall Street Journal written by Martin Feldstein and John B. Taylor.
"In stark contrast to Barack Obama, Mr. McCain believes that tax policy should be used to foster the creation of jobs and higher wages through economic growth, rather than to redistribute incomes."

Hmmm, requiring that people actually work for their money. What a novel idea.

This also contrasts how the parties view the American people. McCain wants to give people an opportunity to work and Obama thinks the government should just give people money (and other benefits). The former encourages self-pride through independence and fosters the economy by boosting business, the latter fosters self-pity through dependence and destroys business (especially the mom-and-pops).
